We are devastated to learn of the death of Taras Tarasovych Didich, Head of the Dmitrievka community in the Kyiv region. He was a committed leader, dedicated to serving his community, and was killed while helping others during an attack last night. We were proud to have worked with him.
Happy Independence Day, Ukraine!
Today (and every day) we’re celebrating the strength, resilience, and spirit of the Ukrainian people.
We’ve been incredibly fortunate to meet so many Ukrainians through our missions, from defenders, to first responders and hospital teams, to volunteers and community members. Their courage and determination continue to inspire us and remind us why this work matters.
We are proud to stand with Ukraine, and we remain committed to supporting those who are working to protect their communities and their country.
Meet two of Ukraine’s brave defenders, who risk their lives every day to stand up for Ukraine’s democracy and freedom.
With every mission, the Volunteer Ambulance Corps has helped save lives on the frontlines of Russia’s illegal war by providing urgently needed ambulances and medical supplies to soldiers like them.
We are gearing up for Mission 19 in October and your donations can help make a difference!

Because of this adoption, the city of DC has installed signs in front of the Embassy highlighting Ukraine Focus’s work, and reminding everyone that free people around the world stand with Ukraine!
📅 Date: Saturday, August 15, 10am
📍 Location: The corner of Wisconsin Ave and Edmunds Street NW, Washington DC.

Mission 18 launches August 1st!
As Ukraine continues to defend its people and its future, Ukraine Focus is preparing another convoy of emergency vehicles and critical supplies for the communities that need them most.
This mission is one way we continue to stand with Ukraine through action. Every donation, volunteer, driver, and supporter helps move lifesaving resources closer to the front lines, hospitals, and emergency teams relying on them.
Thank you to everyone helping make our upcoming Mission 18 possible. The countdown is on. Let’s move!
We’re excited to share that Ukraine Focus is partnering with My Olympic Coach (MOC) to support our Cape Town Marathon charity runners!

Through this partnership, our Ukraine Focus Cape Town Marathon team will have access to expert guidance, training tips, and support as they prepare for race day from one of their amazing celebrity coaches, Paxton Smith.
MOC Coach Paxton Smith, a 2:15 marathoner, will also be running alongside our charity team in support of Ukraine Focus’s mission.
Whether you’re chasing a PR or taking on your first marathon, you won’t be doing it alone. 💙💛

Mission 17 brought volunteers together from across the world, and the connection doesn’t stop when the convoy ends.
A few of our Volunteer Ambulance Corps volunteers recently got together to reconnect, share stories, and reflect on the miles driven, vehicles delivered, and people met along the way.
We’re grateful for this community and everyone who continues to show up for Ukraine!
We're already planning for our next mission, Mission 18, coming up this August 1st-10th. Want to get involved? Fill out a volunteer interest form here!
